Goonzu - Game Review #9

Smacking little bunnies, mushrooms, and squirrels with a sword is what I call "fun". There is nothing like getting a bit of revenge on mother nature. In Goonzu you get to do all of this. It has it's own economy that allows you to participate in the worlds fake stock market, enjoy some great towns with guilds, and non-stop action while your chatting. The community is massive for this game with them making websites for guilds to chat on, talk to pretty much anyone and they would gladly participate in a conversation, and team fighting to battle down those REALLY strong foes. The time that will be taken from your life to put into this game will be well worth it. Build your wealth and buy things that make you look better or more powerful. They do have a store that allows you to skip spending the time to build up the money and purchase things at an accelerated rate or you can purchase special items that can't be bought or made through the game. I don't like spending money as you peeps may know, although I do spend a few bucks to get a pretty horse to ride on that is not available anywhere but in the store. Give it a try and it will surprise you!

Evony : Game Review #8

Sometimes games can be completely ruined by being an in-browser game. I try to steer from these if possible, but Evony caught my eye. As a lover of Age of Empires and Civilization, I just had to give Evony. I was completely shocked by the game and the ability to get someone stuck playing for a long period of time. It was graphically a little better than expected being a browser game. The community is huge and active all the time 24/7. The beginning is completely laid out for you on how to start if you just follow the quests given at the start. They sell you extras and everything to get their dough, but the game seems to play fine without it. To become a super powerful town though I would recommend spending the extra few bucks. They call their money cents... It was a little confusing to pay dollars to buy cents but the more I thought about it then it came to me... cents would have been more like a midieval term dealing with money. This game is a high recommend to play! Give it a shot and guarantee that you will be hooked for days to come.

Fiesta Online : Game Review #7

Ok... I might be a little kiddish at times and like the dorkiest (if that is a word) things, but it just got a little ridiculous. I started playing Fiesta and thought that the games overall graphics were just completely awesome. The game does require a bit of a work horse pc to play. The game is well worth playing just see it. As I got further into the game I realized very quickly that the fighting was less than what I had expected. Also, the confusing skill mastery will utterly frustrate you at the beginning. I don't like playing a game that requires me to read a manual... that is one of the ways that I weed out games that I think are unworthy. The quests were... well... not there. I found myself fighting mushrooms for a few hours thinking it would get better! But, to my dismay it did not. The range of monsters were minimal. It also seemed that as I got further into the game that the monsters all seemed to be the same just different levels. Mushrooms, mushrooms, and more mushrooms... When you are resting you even turn into a mushroom house! I was wondering what could have been on their minds as they were designing this game. The focus seemed to be too much on what it looked like rather than the amount of content that it contained. As I said before I do not use books, manuals, or cheats to figure things out and even days later I still had not figured out the skill system. A better beginners help would benefit people greatly in this. After a while I did figure out that you can click on things like flowers, wood, and herbs to gather stuff.. oo.. and mushrooms :( The community seems to be there for the game, but there seems to be this lack in activity from them. I always try to talk to people as I play to get info, reactions, and advice. But, the people playing this game seemed to not respond to ANY of my questions. They would just go on doing what they were doing and ignore me. The methods of fighting were simple, but could have been put together better. Fiesta surprised me yet, dissappointed me at the same time with this game. Especially with how largely played this game is. Click below to download and play free!

Xfire : The gamers instant messenger

Right now I am testing out the quality and the worthiness of a program called Xfire. Which is the gamer's version of yahoo or aol instant messenger. You can see what games your friends are playing at the time and also join in on their games with just one click. It gives ability to take screen shots and immediately send them to friends or you can save them to your pc. You can do voice chat through this program also. So far I would totally recommend it and if you join then add me to your friends! My handle is randi2kewl as it is in all games that I play!

Knights, Beasts, Magic short but sweet!

I was browsing through all the games online as I always do and I ran across this interesting one. This game was very short with only 6 levels at this time. But, those 6 levels were pretty fun. It's name is Knight Beast and Magic. This game would be pretty awesome if it was longer and added to the options. If there was an online multiplayer game like this then I think it would be a good one. Click here to check it out! Enjoy this one for the short amount of time you have with it:)

Fantasy Tennis : Game Review #6

I ran across this game that just seemed to catch my eye and looked interesting compared to the other kinds of games that I have played. The name of the game is Fantasy Tennis. The game is all about playing tennis in more of a magical RPG environment. Whether you like sports or not it still has a lot of fun things going on with it. Seems to be very popular around the world since you will see a lot of talking in other languages. The game allows you to customize your character with strength, endurance, dexterity, and so on... just as any RPG would have you do. You can purchase team mate characters or play with a live online character. Your character gets money and experience for winning games. You can use the money to buy magic rackets, clothes, and spell like moves. Tons of new things that can keep you interested for a long period of time. The graphics were phenominal for such a small download. More of an animated cartoon type theme to the game. Eye appealing, interactive, and customizable...is there anything else it could have? Chats, forums, and a huge community of people that enjoy the game and have become addicted to it. Make sure that you at least give it a try. Small download, free, and addictive which makes it a must play in my book!

EUO MMORPG : Game Review #5

I regrettably made my life’s biggest mistake last night. I am sad to say that I downloaded the EUO game. It was meant to be like the older 2d games out there, but the game play was way too slow. The character moves at a snails pace which gets you all pissed off in the first place. Then everything uses keys. You have to keep referring back to the guide in order to know what each key does. If you like games where you hold down the control button and keeping hitting arrows each time you want to attack a creature then this game is for you. The community is like non existent, at least to what I saw. If you know of me being wrong on this then please send me in the right direction. You need to have a whole lot of time on your hands and be extremely bored to play this game. But, that is just my own opinion (yea I will enjoy the snide comments and evil hatemails. If you like a slower paced game and the old school styles it will be like that. It reminds me of the original Zelda and how that was played. The sign in screen gets kind of annoying also, since it doesn’t remember who you are and your character’s name. I have a tough time with my memory , so that doesn’t help my cause at all. The ups were that it is free, there might be 1 or 2 people to talk to on there. Their website looks real spiffy though ;)

Eudemons Online: Game Review #4

This one was very interesting and kept me occupied for a very long time even though that is very hard to do since I am A.D.D. like none other. The game play was awesome and kept me entertained by the creatures too. Kind of a difficult start off, but after a bit you will catch up. The graphics weren't that bad either. It was a bit more than a 2d, but not so much of a 3d game. It is very detailed in the graphics department. The whole egg/eudemon thing was a little confusing too. Not too much of an explanation on it either. Gives you the basic outline without going enough into detail about it. The controls were pretty decent too. I don't recommend playing on a laptop like I do b/c you will run away even though you are trying to attack because of the touch mouse. Don't let that stop you from taking a few hours out and trying this game.

Dead beat game links!

I just realized I have a huge pet-peev that is the most irritating thing on the net. I absolutely can not stand it when I am searching for a game and find one that looks hot and click on the link to see... error! this page can not be found... I get so angry because that was one more game that I might have been able to see, but I won't get the chance to because they either don't know how to do their linking right or they put a game up there and unable to support it. I understand that it is a free game, but you are able to support those games in many ways. Mainly by using ads and selling space or whatever. I would gladly play a free online rpg game if it had a little ad in the corner! I can ignore the ad, but I can not ignore the dead links!!!! I now right into the Internet Constitution : Article 512, section 2 : No more dead links on sites. Punishable by death :) Little over dramatic, but I can be some times.

Let the Free Online RPGs Games Community know how you feel about these by giving a comment.

Dungeon Runners: Game Review #3

Dungeon Runners is a game for those of you that like to only do the fighting scenes. There is not much of a world interaction, but you do have some things that you can do outside of the dungeons. You can talk to the people that are in the same area, get quests to fulfill, and you can show around in the shops. Pretty much that is the whole Think of this as a game for you to run around and kill stuff and level up and nothing much more than that. The game was very interesting at first, but as I started to grow in levels it was kind of dull and boring. There is however a very large community for the game. It is fun to talk to the people in the areas that you are in and the off-game community chats are even larger. The people that play the game are fanatics and get that WoW addiction kicking in. To be able to play the whole game with all of the abilities and weapons you will need to pay a low monthly fee, but it is worth it since there are a lot of things you can't do in this game without paying the monthly fee. If you used to play World of Warcraft and don't want to pay the money then this is a great alternative.

AdventureQuest : Game Review #2

I was completely surprised by AdventureQuest. The game has a strong plot line to it with a fun anime or manga twist to it. The graphics are really neat to see, but the online play is kind of kiddish. Sometimes you get a little confused on what you can manipulate and what you can't. The integration of the browser play and the rpg is kinda neat also since you can play whenever you go over to a friend or family member's house. Or, maybe while you are the computer in the library at school...shh...I didn't say that. The amount of time that the game requires is kind of minimal, but still fun all in all. It also requires some money in order to do a bunch of the really fun stuff that it involves. So, if you want to get the full aspect of the game you will need to pump out a few bucks for the fun. Battle scenes are also pretty long and drawn out, but you can go to another tab in your firefox bar and browse the web while waiting. The community is non existant pretty much unless you go into some chats and talk to people as you play in another window.
I only reccommend this game to someone that is extremely bored with a lot of time on their hands.
